Toulouse
We spent a day in Toulouse, also referred to as ‘La Vie En Rose’, a beautiful city built mostly of brick buildings. What struck me was the average age in this city. It seemed to be 25! I haven’t been in a city this young and vibrant in quite some time. It was refreshing and fun. We even stumbled into a circus store. When was the last time you walked into a circus store? The Musee de Augustins was well worth a visit and sparked a great discussion about art. We contemplated about adding paint to a paining, layer on top of layer and the idea when an artist deems a painting complete. Likewise we marveled at the statues where the artist kept taking away over and over again. Hopefully not too much… Isn’t it all about balance?
