Mount Madonna’s Annual Walk-a-Thon
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Mount Madonna School, we have an annual walk-a-thon this time of year and it’s coming up on Saturday, April 28th! I am going to walk 5 kilometers to promote a healthy relationship with the environment, and to help raise money for Mount Madonna School. I happen to work the event as well, so my second loop will be to get to the station where I will pass out water for other hikers and then I will continue the loop. My total hike therefore will be 10K! Please support my walk by pledging! I plan to contribute a portion of the earnings to Foundation Beyond Belief, a charitable foundation created to focus, encourage and demonstrate human generosity and compassion. I like them, because all of the donations are forwarded and I get to choose where the donations go to in the following 5 categories:
• Education
• Poverty and Health
• Human Rights
• The Natural World
• Challenge the Gap (charities based in other worldviews)
