MMS Chautauqua 2012
Today I attended the first of three days of the 2012 Mount Madonna School Chautauqua, a gathering of lifelong learners wanting to make a difference. This year’s theme is centered around how education can help us be more community-able. As usual I didn’t really know where the conversation would take us. And yet even today, which was quasi the warm up, was rich and meaningful. We discussed what it takes to welcome strangers and what stories we are making up about the communities we are in. I am already looking forward to tomorrow.
